Agent Overview
Grepp is an AI agent built for analytics. You connect your data sources, ask questions in plain English, and Grepp handles everything else — querying your data, building charts, and keeping your dashboard organized.
What Grepp Can Do
Grepp works across four core areas:
Query your data. Ask any question about your connected databases, APIs, or files. Grepp figures out what to look for, runs the query, and explains the result in plain language.
Build charts and visualizations. Describe what you want to see — a revenue trend, a breakdown by region, a comparison across time periods — and Grepp creates the chart and adds it to your dashboard automatically.
Manage your dashboard. Grepp can create new dashboards, switch between them, rearrange components, and remove charts you no longer need. It will always ask for confirmation before deleting anything permanently.
Answer follow-up questions. Grepp remembers what it has already fetched and built during your conversation. Follow-up questions are fast because Grepp reuses previous results rather than re-querying your database for every message.
How It Works
Grepp connects to all your enabled integrations — databases, APIs, file uploads — and knows their structure automatically. When you send a message, Grepp determines what action to take, interacts with the right data source, and streams its response back to you in real time.
You do not need to know SQL, name specific tables, or understand how your data is structured. Just ask what you want to know.
Grepp streams responses as it works, so you see progress immediately — including when it is querying data or building a new chart.
Confidence
Each response from Grepp includes a confidence level that reflects how the request went:
| Level | What it means |
|---|---|
| High | Grepp successfully queried data or took a meaningful action |
| Medium | Grepp responded without errors, but no data was fetched or action was taken |
| Low | Something went wrong during processing |
Low confidence responses will explain what the issue was and suggest how to proceed.
