Terms of Service

By accessing or using Greppilot ("the Service"), operated by Greppilot ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Greppilot is an AI-powered analytics platform that allows you to connect data sources (databases, APIs, files), query them through a conversational AI agent, and build interactive dashboards. The Service includes a free tier and paid subscription plans.

You must create an account to use Greppilot. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.

Ownership. You retain full ownership of your data. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over the data you connect, query, or visualize through Greppilot.

Access. By connecting a data source, you grant Greppilot permission to access that source on your behalf to execute queries, retrieve schema information, and generate visualizations as instructed by you through the AI agent.

No storage of query results. Query results are processed in memory and are not stored, logged, or persisted by Greppilot. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Credential security. Integration credentials are encrypted with AES-256-GCM at rest. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to connect the data sources you add to Greppilot.

Greppilot supports Bring Your Own Key mode, where you provide your own API key for AI providers (e.g., Anthropic, OpenAI). When using BYOK:

• Your API key is stored in your browser only and never written to our database
• You are billed directly by your AI provider for token usage
• Greppilot does not charge for AI usage in BYOK mode
• You are responsible for complying with your AI provider's terms of service

If you use Managed AI mode, Greppilot provides AI access through our own API keys. Token usage is billed at the provider's cost plus a 15% operational markup. Pricing details are available on the Pricing page.

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually through Paddle, our payment processor. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method.

• Free tier: 1 user, 2 dashboards, all integrations included, no credit card required
• Cancellation: Monthly plans can be cancelled at any time. You retain access until the end of your billing period. The Enterprise plan requires a 12-month minimum commitment.
• Refunds: We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at hello@greppilot.com.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Use the Service to store or transmit malicious code
• Exceed reasonable usage limits in a manner that degrades the Service for others
• Resell or redistribute access to the Service without our written consent

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

The Greppilot platform, including its code, design, branding, and documentation, is owned by Greppilot and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or brand assets.

Dashboards, charts, and visualizations you create using Greppilot are yours. We claim no ownership over your output.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that the AI agent will produce accurate, complete, or error-free results. You are responsible for validating any insights, queries, or data derived from the Service before making business decisions.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Greppilot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Greppilot, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

You may close your account at any time by contacting us at hello@greppilot.com. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
